Joseph S. Daly

DALY, Joseph S. “Joe” Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2021. Joe was the beloved husband of the late Janet with whom they shared 62 years of marriage. They were lovingly known as the “dalydouble.” Joe was a lifelong Arlington resident, the son of the late Edward and Essie Day. Joe was the loving father of Anne Curry and her partner Michael Surette of Dennisport, Brenda Shea and her husband Michael of Woburn, Linda LaSpada of Rockport and Joe Daly and his wife Michelle of Woburn. Very special Papa to Glen Curry and his partner Ed Dombroski, Matty Shea, Ashley Sosenko and her husband Steve, Casey Shea and his fiancé Molly McDonough, Logan LaSpada and Joe and Bryan Daly. Joe was a devoted husband, friend and neighbor. Always willing to help anyone in need. Joe was a former Town Meeting Member, Past Commander of the Arlington Legion Post 39, Member of the Knight of Columbus, Disable American Vets, Retired Men’s Club of Arlington, Late State Representative. Joe was a Veteran of the Korean War. Relatives and friends are invited to visit in The DeVito Funeral Home, 1145 Mass Avenue, ARLINGTON on Tuesday morning at 9:00 with a Funeral Mass to commence at 11:30 in St. Agnes Church.
